DAISY is a cow-mounted sensor that collects images of the pasture when the animal is grazing. The machine vision system identifies and maps plant species and surface features in grazing pastures, including rye grass, clover, dung, and bare soil. These features can inform the user of soil health and species diversity in the pasture.
